Take a few minutes to release and unwind before bed with this easy-going evening sequence. Laura guides you through a series of Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (Pigeon Pose) variations and gentle backbends. Especially recommended if you work at a desk or laptop for much of the day.

HEART OPENING PRACTICE

Join Laura on a journey to deepen into your physical body and receive your heart's light. You'll start off with a brief meditation and then progressively build your Prana (Life Force) through measured breath, gentle twists and bountiful extensions. Laura ends with a relaxing floor sequence, releasing you into a sweet savasana.

 

About Laura

Certified Holistic Health Counselor and RYT 500 yoga teacher, Laura has been studying yoga since 1997 with master teachers on both coasts. She was Certified in Anusara and has studied for over ten years with Dr. Douglas Brooks. Currently Laura is studying Ayurveda with Cate Stillman and Dr. Naina Marballi. Her classes and workshops reflect her distinct understanding of the body and mind, provide refuge, and become a space to explore deeper listening to your heart. Laura lives in Astoria, Queens with her beloved Chris and their 2 sons Luke & Maxwell.
